Of all the things that come to mind when people think Chicago, France is probably not one of them. Throughout the city, Chicago actually has some amazing French restaurants and today, French cuisine and restaurants get their due. Today kicks off A La Carte Chicago, the city’s first French Restaurant Week! A La Carte Chicago was organized by The Consulate General of France, French American Chamber of Commerce Chicago, and few other organizations, to celebrate French cuisine, wine, and the French way of living. Throughout the week, participants will be able to dine at participating restaurants all over the city, offering special menus, tastings, and classes on French cooking. You can find a full list of events and participating restaurants on the website. Bon Appetit!
