Today we will be celebrating the Chinese New Year, the year of the Goat (or Ram). According to Chinese astrology, each year is associated with an animal sign, occurring in a 12 year cycle. Depending on the year in which you were born, an animal will represent your life. For example, this year the Goat represents those people born in 1931, 1943, 1955, 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003 and 2015. The Goat’s personality is described as calm, gentle and a strong sense of kindheartedness.
